Added- DisciPals is now on Android — early access. Install it directly from our website while we finish our Google Play listing. It's the same app, and when we launch on the Play Store your install updates over to it automatically.
- DisciPals now lets you know when a new version is available and takes you straight to the update.
- Finishing a Journey day now shows a gentle pop-up to head back to your Journey or keep reading — with a "remember my choice" option you can also change from Account and Journey Settings.
- The Journey home now shows the last chapter you completed.
- A scroll-to-latest pill in StudyPals chat jumps you straight to the newest message.
Changed- Your daily Journey reminders — and the new day-complete pop-up — now pull from a much larger, more varied set of encouragements, so they stay fresh month to month.
- Cleaner reader chapter navigation, with a shorter "Prev" label and more even button spacing.
- Removed a stray drop shadow on StudyPals group action buttons.
Fixed- The Journey day strip now loads already in place instead of sliding into position, and no longer flickers while the home screen loads.
- Verse of the Day text that stands on its own now always starts with a capital letter.
- Title screens now line up with the reader header.
- On Android, the Reflections formatting bar (headings, bold, italic, and underline) now sits above the keyboard, and tapping a shared verse link opens straight into the app — matching iOS.

Fixed- Reading after a missed day no longer adds two days to your Journey streak. The grace day keeps your streak alive, but only days you actually read are counted — so streaks that used a grace day may now show one day lower.

July 16, 2026The Bible tab, Verse of the Day, and introducing Reflections.
Added- Bible tab — a dedicated Bible reader with its own reading position. The Journey, StudyPals, and Bible readers are now fully independent, so each can be open to a different verse at the same time and free browsing never moves your plan's place.
- Verse of the Day — a daily verse card on the Journey home that opens the verse in the Bible reader, with a distinct warm-gold sun pill to set it apart.
- Verse of the Day notifications can be turned on or off from Account.
- Reflections — a note editor for sermon notes, prayers, and thoughts that automatically detects and links Bible references as you type.
- Reflections formatting — bold, italic, underline, and headings (one style at a time), with your reflections list grouped by year.
- Reading streaks — your streak grows any day you read a chapter, with a grace day if you miss one, a best-streak record, and streak counts in your reminders.
- Streak celebration cards, plus improved milestone pop-ups — when you earn several at once, the most epic is saved for last.
- Reflections now sync across your devices, including deletions.
- Every new account starts with a Welcome to Reflections note — a quick tour of formatting that also shares the prayer of salvation. Keep it or delete it, it's yours.
- Shareable verse links — a shared link opens straight to that verse in the Bible reader.
- Shared verse links now show a rich preview of the verse when shared in messages and social apps — in the translation you shared from — and open directly in the app when it's installed.
- Reset My Progress on StudyPals focuses — clear your own reading progress for a group focus (optionally including your notes, highlights, and bookmarks in those chapters) so you can read it fresh with your group. Resetting never breaks your reading streak.
Changed- The tab bar has been reworked to support six tabs.
- Magic-link sign-in emails redesigned with a cleaner light theme for better readability across email apps.
Fixed- Syncing from the server can no longer roll back newer Journey or Bible reader changes made on your device, including changes made while offline.
- Reopening the app with weak or no service no longer gets stuck on an endless loading spinner — startup now trusts your last signed-in session after a few seconds and finishes checking with the server in the background once you're back online.
- Your profile on the Account screen and your StudyPals groups now display correctly while offline instead of showing an error or empty state.
Security- Hardened internal backend functions against external access.
